Hannah Swifte
Principal Occupational Therapist; Owner
Hannah graduated her occupational therapy bachelor degree in 2013. She has always had a passion for working with children and has developed a very special interest in the area of childhood behaviour and sensory processing. In 2015, Hannah founded Learn & Grow OT due to love for working in paediatrics, but also to fill the forever growing need for private paediatric occupational therapy in Mackay.
Hannah has 2 young children of her own who support her ever aching love for helping kids reach their goals in a fun and exciting way.
Amber Brown
Occupational Therapist
Amber is a Mackay local who became a part of our team in early 2020. She graduated her bachelor of occupational therapy (Honours) in 2019 where we were lucky enough to have her jump straight on board for her post-graduate year to offer her enthusiastic attitude to our LGOT family.
As a very family-oriented person, Amber shares our passion for working with kids and their families to reach their goals.
Amanda Sobey
Occupational Therapist
Amanda graduated a grad-entry Master of Occupational Therapy in 2019 which then brought her to Mackay all the way from Perth to pursue her passion in working with children. Bringing these years of experience with her, we are very excited to have Amanda as part of our little team!
Amanda also holds firsthand experience with childhood development in being a fantastic mum to her baby boy.
Sarah is our front line person who you will usually be in contact with first and takes on all behind the scene tasks to help our service operate at its best!
Sarah is a wonderful fit to our team as she brings with her passion for supporting children and, having two gorgeous kids of her own, she understands the whirlwind of parenthood. Sarah is very approachable and takes good care of us all!
